 Berj Eskijian and his son Chris Eskijian founded Beverly Hills Watch Company, formerly known as Elegante Jewelers, in 1979. It started as a small jewelry store doing custom orders and trade work for surrounding fine Jewelry houses.  

     Berj Eskijian was a fourth generation craftsman and jeweler. He started Elegante Jewelers in 1979 with his son Chris Eskijian who, from the age of 19, learned the craft and business under the supervision of his father, ‘Berj’, who emigrated from Armenia in 1972. Berj taught Chris the techniques and panache that were used by his father. This helped Chris develop the foundation he needed to be able to design and manufacture jewelry that is not only stunning, but sensible.

     The little jewelry store on South Beverly Drive, which transformed into the thriving Beverly Hills Watch Company today, specializes in the sales of fine luxury watches and manufacturing of fine jewelry. We cater to elite clients all around the world.  Armen Eskijian, the youngest sibling from the family, joined the family business in 1996 to help expand Beverly Hills Watch Company. Through hard work and integrity, Armen was able to build relationships with clients from around the world who look to the Beverly Hills Watch Company to design finely crafted jewelry and acquire bespoke timepieces.

    Though Beverly Hills Watch Company became well known for selling fine watches, Chris felt that it was time to bring back the true craft of fine jewelry manufacturing, which is what he knew best. With the help of his sister, Naira who joined him in 2007, they began to design jewelry for the store and private clients. Chris was able to expand his shop to help manufacture all the jewelry in house. With the help of full time jewelers and diamond setters working under his supervision, he’s able to handcraft pieces and include them in the Chris and Naira Design.
