Upon his departure on July, 1944 he never returned. Fast forward to year 2000, parts of the lightning were found and now IWC has made a special edition named the "last Edition" for this last mission flown. Limited to 170 pieces, 18ct red gold pushers and crown. 68 hour power reserve, 46mm. IWC in-house Caliber 89361. The case which is made of high-performance ceramic in the color of the flight suit Saint Exupery would wear.
